For the Wallabies, the singing of Waltzing Matilda before the game gave the Wallabies time to gather on the field and talk for the last time about the game to come. For the players, it is important to have the right gear and stay well hydrated for optimal performance. A scrum is a way of restarting the game safely and fairly after a minor infringement.
