"Dimensional Drift" is a captivating abstract painting composed of nine tiles that appear to float weightlessly on the canvas, rendered in soothing shades of blue and aqua. Each tile, while sharing a cohesive color scheme, displays its own unique textures and subtle variations, illustrating the theme of individuality within unity.
The tiles, reminiscent of drifting paper squares, symbolize the diverse experiences, values, and cultural backgrounds that make each of us distinct. Yet, despite these differences, there is a profound similarity in our shared humanity. This artwork visually represents how, despite our unique journeys, we all contribute to a greater, harmonious whole.
The fluidity of the blue and aqua tones echoes the tranquility of water, emphasizing the gentle flow of our interconnected lives. "Dimensional Drift" invites viewers to reflect on the beauty of our individual paths and the ways in which our differences come together to create a richer, more vibrant collective experience.

  • Encaustic paintings are highly durable due to the wax's resistance to moisture, preventing deterioration. This durability is evidenced by the Fayum mummy portraits, which were created 2,000 years ago and have not faded over time.

    For optimal care:

Avoid Direct Sunlight and Extreme Temperatures: Keep your painting away from direct sunlight and temperatures below 1°C or above 50°C, as extreme heat can melt the wax.

Handle with Care: The surface can be scratched, gouged, or chipped if handled roughly. Always treat your painting gently.

Cleaning: Encaustic paintings do well in a home environment. If the painting becomes dull during curing (around 6 months), gently buff it with a soft, lint-free cloth. Occasionally wipe off dust with a clean, lint-free rag.

Following these steps will keep your encaustic artwork in excellent condition.
