Ipswich Impressions

Ipswich is one of the oldest towns in Queensland and was first settled in 1827. Nowadays it is one of the fastest-growing regions in Australia.

Allan Cunningham was the first to explore the Ipswich area. The memorial on Cunningham’s Knoll marks the occasion. Ipswich is renowned for its architectural, natural and cultural heritage. Mining, the railway workshops and the RAAF employed Ipswich’s residents since its beginnings.
