The amroo acrylics series are colourful acrylic paintings I create when I just want to have some fun with colours. I like to create uplifting and happy art full of interest to lift the spirit and make you feel joyful. Interest is added through detailed line work, dots, dashes, hatches and patterns. These details keep the viewer engaged and lead you on a journey of discovery in her paintings.

The artworks are influenced by my beautiful rural surroundings, connection to the land and positive energy.  My background in landscape architecture is evident in my subject selection and carefully constructed patterns and hatches. I’m using botanical references as my secret place to nurture my dreams is often in my garden.
